Recycling in Detroit
Being a responsible environmental citizen is tough in Detroit. However, there are three places in the city to take products for recycling.
Greater Corktown Development Corporation
Open on the third Saturday of every month, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the alley behind the CPA Building at 14th Street and Michigan Avenue, across from the Michigan Central Depot. The parking lot is off the alley between 14th and 15th. You will see their container and big dumpster. Volunteers are friendly and helpful.
