Tree planting begins along Chicago Boulevard - 10:00 am
- Rain or shine, we will be planting trees throughout the medians from Woodward to Woodrow Wilson
- Please come assist with digging, planting, spreading mulch - or to simply cheer us on!

CELEBRATION WILL FOLLOW IN VOIGT PARK AT 12 PM
- Food, DJ and fun!
- Everyone is welcome - even those unable to participate in beautification
- Rain date for the celebration - May 10th at 12 pm
ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS
- Paint a flower pot and take home a flower
- See a Detroit fire engine
- Have pictures taken in fun cut-outs
- Have your face painted
