Our popular annual summer jazz party continues to be an extra-special affair! This year, we welcome the ladies of Straight Ahead, a long-time hometown favorite who have made their mark on the national and international music arenas. This GRAMMY-nominated group of instrumentalists and vocalists is widely recognized for their eclectic and soulful approach to creating music, with their sound ranging comfortably from mainstream jazz and R&B; ballads, to avant-garde and Brazilian funk. Straight Ahead was named the finalist in the "Sony Innovators" competition in the first year they performed together. Since then they have amassed a string of honors, including opening for the legendary Nina Simone at the Montreaux-Switzerland Jazz Festival. Come join us for a hot summer evening, which includes food and drink.
